Mutton Bustin - Event Rules
Child must be between the ages of 4 - 6 and weigh less than SIXTY (60) lbs.
Riders (placed on sheep by COMMITTEE MEMBERS ONLY) may take a wool hold and ride for six (6) seconds.
Child may use one or two hands.
Child must ride for six seconds to score and receive points.
Sheep shall be chute run, with all running out of the same chute.
One Helper Per Contestant will be allowed in the Chute Area!!
HELPERS & CONTESTANTS MUST DRESS WESTERN (LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, WESTERN BOOTS, HELMETS ARE PROVIDED)
NO SPURS ALLOWED!!!
ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION
Entry Forms can be picked up "Starting June 1st, 2025" at our Sponsoring Locations

This is a very popular event, with limited openings;
unfortunately, not all applicants will be able to participate.
The drawing section is random and all contestants chosen to ride will be contacted.
If your contestant is not chosen to ride, we will contact you, stating such.
