Cycle23 tnCycle24 tn

Combining new age, portable ramps with the work ethic of farm life bears one of the most entertaining thrill act performances to ever hit the industry.  The gap is set at 75 feet and a plethora of apparatus and humans are hurled across the sky to the excitement of thousands.

WI-FMX is comprised of the hardest working, bravest individuals to ever get the stunt man bug.  With the heart of the operation being a farm in the heart of Wisconsin where at an early age the idea that hard work yields rewards was implanted.

The Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo is please to welcome Cody Cavanaugh and his crew from WI-FMX back to Mitchell.

2024 - Professional Rodeo Clown - "Hippie"

Misc2 tn wmIowa Rodeo Clown, Wesley "Hippie" Engelkes is back again this year at the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo.  The hilarious entertainment and impromptu comedy make Hippie a crowd favorite.  In his own words, "almost all of my comedy is improv, no two shows are the same" he acknowledged.

The father of four is in show business and travels the world.  His passport stamps include Australia and Saudi Arabia.  Hippie entertained at The King Abdul-Aziz Festival for Camels in Saudi Arabia under royal patronage.  Hippie is a regular entertainer with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) with three trips to Australia.

Hippie joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 2008.  "The PRCA has given me the opportunity to take my family from coast to coast, border to border, and around the world to entertain and bring joy to the greatest sports fans there are," mentioned Engelkes.

Face paint is one of the trademarks of rodeo clowns.  Each entertainer has their own unique application of grease paint with designs.  "I get asked often why I have three crosses on my face when clowning," states Engelkes.  "If it wasn't for Jesus, I wouldn't have the talents to entertain that I do."    Follow Hippie on: Facebook logo

2024- Rodeo Announcer - Davie Kimm

Davie Kimm is a Gold Card member of professional rodeo cowboy's association.  Like many rodeo announcers, Davie's love of rodeo began as a contestant when he joined the Minnesota High School Rodeo Association in the 1980's.  Working both ends of the arena roping calves and riding bareback & saddle bronc horses, he went on to qualify for the National High School Finals Rodeo and later on, The PRCA Great Lakes Circuit Finals 4 times in saddle bronc riding in 1987, '88, '89, and '92.Davie Kimm cr200 wm

Davie migrated to the announcer's stand when he announced his first rodeo filling in for a non-show announcer.  Since then, Davie has worked his way up working high school, college, & finally professional rodeos and bull ridings throughout the United States and Canada.  "Living out the dream of being a successful PRCA announcer has been a sensational Journey for me, and without the help and advice from many people - including stock contractors, rodeo committees, specialty acts, clowns, fellow announcers and friends - this would never have become a reality."

Davie is quick to admit that his wife Nicky (who handles rodeo music production and sound) is a big part of his continued success.  The two of them travel together throughout much of the year.

Along with announcing rodeos Davie also freelances as a commercial voice talent and spokesperson.  He is also an endorsee of Wrangler Western Wear, Montana Silversmiths, Resistol Hats, Electro-Voice Microphones, and Prime Performance Nutrition.

His insight as a past contestant and his Midwest work ethic has helped Davie become one of the most exciting and sought after voices in the PRCA.  He has been heard at such prestigious events as the Black Hills Stock Show Rodeo, PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour, and his voice has been heard on ESPN, ESPN2.  He worked along side ESPN sportscaster Jeff Medders during the 2010 Black Hills Stock Show in Rapid City, SD for the inaugural PRCA Extreme Bulls live webcast on ESPN360.  Follow Davie on:  Facebook logo

Beau Schueth

IMG 7440 cr JD Harrell tnBeau Schueth "Sheets" grew up knowing rodeo was something he wanted to do.  When most young men want to join the rodeo circuit, they hop on a horse and start roping or they get on a bronc or bull and hold on for eight seconds.  Schueth decided that while he still wanted to compete in rodeo, neither roping nor riding was a good fit.  He decided to take the bull by the horns and become a bullfighter.

With a lot of work, Beau was finally the scheduled bullfighter for the 50th Annual Clearwater Rodeo.  Now, he has made his way to the top & staked a claim as a national champion bullfighter.  Some of his accomplishments include:  2015 BOA Finals Bullfighter, 2017 CBR Bullfighter, Bull riding Tour Bullfighter, 2017 to Present Tuff Hedeman, 2018 Roughy Cup Champion, 2018 BFO Reserve World Champion, and 15+ Freestyle Bullfighting Wins.  Beau and his fiance Nikki call O'Neill, NE home.  Follow Beau on:Facebook logo2024 Beau Schueth 2
