2022 Parade Marshal: John Fraser

John Fraser has been a member of the Mitchell Community for the past 32 years, where he and his wife (Kathy) own and operate JD Concrete. John has contributed to the Abbott House, Mitchell Area Safe House, Big Friend-Little Friend, CASA, various Veteran's Organizations, the Mitchell Veteran's Park, the food pantry, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Mitchell Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo, just to name a few. John is a firm believer of helping others in need, which is why he is a behind the scene kind of guy.

John and his wife Kathy, have four children: Tiffany (Joe) Schaefers, Courtney (Nick) Hohn, Justin (Kari) Fraser, and Jason (Meagan) Fraser - all of Mitchell. They also have nine grandchildren: Brooklynn and Eve Hohn, Diesel, Hansel, Navy and Dove Fraser, Greyson and Clara Fraser, and Beckett Kasdorf.

2022 Hall of Fame Inductees: Kathy Fraser

Kathy Fraser has been a member of the Mitchell Community for the past 32 years, where alongside her husband - own and operate JD Concrete. Kathy was an active member of the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo for over 15 years. During that time, she was presented with the 2001 John Justin Committee Man of the Year award at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV. She was the first female to receive this award! Kathy was also involved in 4-H, teaching Sunday School, leading youth groups, and organizing after prom. Kathy retired from the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo Committee, so that she was able to enjoy her time in the stands with her grandkids.
